Migraines and Cluster Headaches

You would probably be surprised at the large number of people who have to deal with migraines on a daily basis.  Some people have migraine headaches that come in go but other people have them where they stick around for a long time or perhaps recur on almost a daily basis.  Whenever this happens, it is sometimes referred to as being ClusterHeadaches and they are one of the more painful things that we have to deal with.  If you have these type of cluster problems, you should see a doctor to find out if there is something that is underlying which can be corrected.

There are so many different types of migraines and each of them has a different name.  Even if you are dealing with the same type of migraines on a regular basis, you’re more than likely going to notice differences in between them as they occur.  If you have regular migraines that seem to come one right after the other, these are often referred to as ClusterHeadaches.  Although they are extremely painful and seem to sideline you if you have them weekly, your doctor may be able to prescribe some medication which will help you to deal with the intense pain that you are experiencing.

For most headache sufferers, a visit to your physician is usually the best thing to do. This will eliminate the possibility that there is not something else going on such as a tumor or cancer. The family doctor can run some painless diagnostic tests to be sure that what ails you really are migraines or cluster headaches.
