warcraft action figures

Collectors come in all stripes, people that  genuinely employ a love for what they’re  collecting, those who just love the chase of with the ability to complete a collection, and those who hope their investment will sometime repay.  One doesn’t should be  among the many  millions of players of World of Warcraft to collect its wow character figures.  The younger collectors though, or the young at heart, often have a difficult time resisting the urge taking  the warcraft action figures of the box.  The slightly older players will  have the  warcraft action figures reminiscent of He-Man figures sold in the 80’s.

You will find four main companies that started manufacturing warcraft figures since Warcraft 2.  These are Blizzard Entertainment, Toycom, Amazing (SOTA), and DC Direct (of DC Comics).  Out of they then, DC Direct has produced the largest line of figures, 25 figures including state of the art miniatures, through 2009.

Blizzard, the organization behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only produced five miniatures.  They’re Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.

Toycom has produced six miniatures all from Warcraft III.  SOTA released only three figures that happen to be: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.

DC Direct released its first a line warcraft action figures in 2007.  This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, and a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series with the end of 2009.

As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, aquiring a mint toy collection can be a nice investment.  Those unfamiliar with WoW, but seeking the next “hot” collectible, could consider these wow action figures because WoW is a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for many subscribers, over 11 million.  With increasingly more followers worldwide it’s likely a market will exist in the foreseeable future for those collectors who made it possible to purchase the warcraft action figures now and collect them.  And unlike the He-Man figures these WoW action figures usually are not currently being produced in higher quantities and sold in retail outlets.
